5 Tips to Get More Results from Your Marketing Materials

​Why it's so difficult to get your customers to actually buy from you? Most of the time it is the way you address your business. You can improve results with those five suggestions that will improve your conversion of your marketing materials (websites, brochures, etc).

  1. Know your customer – knowing who you are talking to is pretty important. Find your specific customer – the more specific the better – and word hard to find “your voice” and aligned with your customer voice and your marketing material will speak directly to that customer.
  2. Find your benefits and explore – this one is hard! Remember that people buy benefits, not feature. Selling your benefits will make the difference because your customer will understand why they are buying from you. Think of the solution that your service/product provides and write about it.
  3. Think about your headline – people make the decision to read based on your headline or the solution that you are providing – so add that on the headline. Take time and be bold!
  4. Add a call for action – so do not assume that your customers know what you want them to do. Tell them using call for action like “download here”, “buy now”, etc.
  5. Using postscripts and captions – postscripts are good to repeat the call for action and captions have an excellent place to get attention. Remind the customer of the key benefits.
