Try to have some fun while you are creating your advert. It is an excellent way to understand what works for your business or not. Any doubt? Drop me an email. Facebook is one of the best tool for micro and small business. It is straightforward and easy to do. Of course, there are Facebook Terms & Conditions that you can find sort of "wasting my time" thing but you will be thankful to read and understand those. Specially after spending hours to create your first advert just to be refused by Facebook because you had add too much text! You can read more here. After reading and understand, let's create some new ways to promote your business. It could be so much fun!
Use the “Call for Action” button on the top right at your page. You can change the topic to Book Now, Call Now, Contact Us, Send Message, Use App, Play Game, Shop Now, Sign Up and Watch Video.Goal: depend on what kind of call for action you choose. With this button, you can generate traffic to your website – connecting a page on your website. It could be a contact us page, blog page with a video there, your online shop, etc.
Bring Twitter followers to you Facebook page tweeting about what it is going on at your Facebook page. It could be a contest or a giveaway that is happening but it also could be some interesting topic on your blog that you have updated on you Facebook page – link all social media in one.
Promoting your website is one way to boost your traffic using Facebook. To create your website boost, click on boost your website. Go to Advert Creative and type a quick and engaging text to capture interest. Add photos to intensify your engagement. Better if you have a video! Then, choose your audience adding basic info such as location, age, interests – here it is important thinking about who is your target. Be careful with this next step: budget and duration. With your budget, you can see an estimate number of clicks. Best advice: experiment first – try targeting some interests and see how it goes. Duration has 2 options where you can set for 7/14/28 days or run until a selected date. You need your credit card to pay for you advert. On the right side, you can see the advert on destop mode and mobile mode.
Clicking in Promote your page, you will generate interest on your Facebook page. Basically, you follow the same structure to choose your audience, setting your budget and payments but instead of targeting your website, you will target likes to your Facebook page as a suggested page for the audience that meet the terms that you customize on your audience.
Here, you can boost your post that could bring interest to your company/product. You can also create two or three different audience target and can create different adverts that will engage / attract different audiences. Maybe classifying as feminine and the other, masculine. E. g. watches could be feminine, masculine or unisex. Budget and duration and payment remains the same. Here, you can see an estimated number of how many people would reach based on your target audience and budget. I have decided to add an extra point that will not be able for all Facebook Pages but if you have an office, a PO Box or want to indicate a place where people can find your business, you can. As well adding a Google map. Extra: Location, location You can add your business address and highlight where your business are. It would be easier as well if you add a Google map to help your customers to find your business. Go to About and find Page Info. There, you can see this blue lighter link where you can make changes. Click there and add any information that you believe it would be important. You have Overview and Page Info. Just click, type and save. And don’t forget to add your Facebook everywhere you can. On the bottom of my website you can see links to my business Facebook, Google + and Twitter. |
