Every single day, visual marketing is getting stronger and bigger than we though. But there is a lot of science behind - psychological and behavior patterns that make us prone to love the visual marketing. Visual content is processed faster by our brain so when you add visuals to your content, it could generate 94% more views and combining videos, it could jump 48% more. The human brain capture more information through images and videos "understanding" the message and depending of the information and how you use this info, you could influence their decision. So visual marketing is impossible to ignore and we are addict to them thanks to Instagram and Pinterest - everybody LOVES visuals - it is easier to "understand" a message, a branding story telling, making a impact with graphics and quotes (who does not love a inspirational/motivational quote?) It is a mix of colors, images (pictures included), fonts, graphics, and don't forget the cute cats, dogs and babies that makes us spent hours and hours on front of our screens. Stats Let's read some stats that give us true information about visual content and see if it would change your mind about them. (maybe you already have changed your mind and do not need this to be another one to spend some money on visuals)
My tools Ok! I have made my mind :) Give me some tools and I will dig deep on my brain and create some fabulous content from now. My favorite one is Canva. I just love it. And it is free (can you believe it?) You can create infographics, presentation, social media images, etc. using you own photo or buying from them ($1 each - isn't crazy good?). They also have customize texts, fonts, ideas, customize sizes and standard sizes for all medias that you can imagine. Go, register and have fun! You can visit my board here as well. And all visuals here have been made on Canva. I also use Storify. It is a tool to create story and it is simple (drag and drop). You can pull together your news, create a story and starting sharing. For presentations (depend what kind it is my audience), I like Slideshare. It is easy and quick to organize a nice and professional presentation (you can share straight away in your Linkedin account). Or Google Docs and Slide - it is perfect to share and use in webinars. I love Haiku Deck for presentations as well ( it is modern and quirk). But it is not a free tool. It is very strong on visual impact - bringing a lot of big massive images - but not a lot of words. But I really think that is amazing and easy to use. See my presentation here. Quick advice? One skill necessary here is creativity. Try to find a good balance between colors and fonts. Be simple: try do not add to much information or images as well (it would make to pollute and confuse your client) Plan your info to be short and straight to the point (if not your client will be confused) Keep your branding - logo fonts and colors, some sort of same vibe on all images or connect with what you are "selling" (motivational quote? a woman smiling?) be true to yourself and your branding Need some help? Visit my boards and portfolio and contact me if you want to know more. Our basic package start with 3 images per month £ 49.00 Be fab! Candyce xx
