It could be: clicks to the website, likes, conversion, engagement, offer claims, lead generation, etc. You can see in a different ways depending of the placement: desktop or mobile news feed, right column or Instagram (new feature!). See below Facebook Advert Placements: This is what you will see for Desktop News Feed - I am using my own page as an example. This is what you will see for Mobile News Feed This is what you will see for Right Column And the new Instagram Sponsored Feed With Facebook Ads, you can reach more local customers, online sales, promoting your website, page or app, raise brand awareness and/or increase local sales. Choosing Desktop or Mobile News Feed, you will have social information, your business name, info text, image or video and an optional Call for Action (CAC). Please see the photo above. In the Right Column, you will have a short version with Images or Video and text. See the photo, please. And Instagram, you will have your Instagram handle, image or video, info text and an optional CAC. See the photo, please. With a variety of paid ads options, Facebook offers a range of objectives for your campaign and once you have selected, Facebook will display options that makes sense to achieve your objectives. Please see below the Facebook list. Facebook will also show the Advert, giving you recommendations, tips and design guidelines. It's time to create your Facebook Ad My choice was Click to Website and Send people to your Website. You will find Clicks to Website and add you website address. Click to Set Audience and Budget. To create an easy step by step, you can see below the first part - Audience. And below, the Budget. Then, you click to next page where you will add image or images (carousel), texts and links, Call to Action, and Preview your Facebook ad in desktop, mobile, right column, etc. Review and Place your order. Who took the time to fill-out surveys? Who dropped-out of purchasing something? What were they looking for? Did the search engine they used brought them to you? Keywords searching? What kind of products/services do they need/want? What pages did they spend most of their time on? What generated more income? When they viewed your site. This is a vital information. Determining the hours you were viewed, you have indication of patterns for visiting behavior and allow you to formulate marketing strategies to increase site visits, decrease bounce rates and drop-outs. How these would help you? These will help you to find out what parts of your website need improving.You can also know how to change and cater more to your niche market and influence their purchases (by using the audience's demographics), making adjustments to attract more and the right traffic.
